AME University believes that Innovation is a process that refines knowledge, and not just the result of great ideas. With the understanding that Liberian students have the innate ability as students around the globe to create and develop new ideas for new challenges and old problems; AME University launched an Institute for Innovation on the main campus of the University in collaboration with the Liberia Coca-Cola Bottling Company, and Mr. Alexander B. Cummings.

The University and Coca-Cola have created a thought-provoking program in an inspiring space at on campus, where honor students can enroll and participate in weekly activities of “innovation and creativity” in addition to their regular coursework; where students will discover, create and refine ideas that will enhance the world we live in. The focus of innovative activities shall have no limit; students will be encouraged not to think outside of “the box”, instead, they will be taught to know that there is “no box” in terms of innovation.
