African Methodist Episcopal University

At AMEU, we get our students ready for the future. Through the Learning First model, we make our students a priority. Each year our committed faculty provide individual attention to nearly 5000 students from all parts of Liberia and the West African region. We are committed to the “pursuit of excellence” in teaching, learning, scholarship, and community service.

AMEU is a faith-based, inclusive, degree-granting University with both undergraduate and graduate campuses mainly located in Central Monrovia. We offer 22 bachelor of science degree programs at the undergraduate level and three at the graduate level as well as professional development training.

At AMEU, we strive to fulfill our students’ needs. We offer them quality education and professional training at affordable cost and through face-to-face interactions and online. All this is done to get them ready for the changing work market.

The University’s AIMS Program offers remedial services to candidates who fail in one admission examination subject and qualifies them for admission into the regular program. The Center for e-Learning provides service to students who decide to do distance learning at their own pace and schedule while the College for Working Adult Program caters to students whose working schedules prevent them from attending regular day classes.

AMEU’s doors are open to all who decide to invest in their education now for a better tomorrow.
