Bishop Paul J.M. Kawimbe serves as the Presiding Prelate of the 14th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, which encompasses Liberia, Sierra Leone, and surrounding nations. He has championed educational development across West Africa and provides spiritual and strategic oversight to AMEU as Chairman of the Board.
Alvin E. Attah, Sr. serves as the President of AMEU and as Executive Member and Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Under his leadership, AMEU has expanded its academic programs, strengthened institutional partnerships, and increased student enrollment across all colleges.
Dr. Josephine George Francis is a distinguished business leader and agricultural entrepreneur. As Owner and CEO of Arjay Farms, Inc., she brings decades of business acumen and community development experience to the Board.
The Honorable Philip A.Z. Banks III serves as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia. His distinguished legal career and expertise in governance and constitutional law provide invaluable guidance to the Board on matters of policy and institutional compliance.
Bishop Clement W. Fugh is a senior leader of the AME Church in Liberia with decades of pastoral and administrative experience. He contributes spiritual leadership and deep community ties to the AMEU Board.
Dr. Samuel G. Wlue brings extensive expertise in data analysis, public policy, and institutional management. His background in national statistics and development planning strengthens the Board's capacity for evidence-based decision-making.
Ms. Patricia A. Nimene is a certified financial professional with over 20 years of experience in public finance, budgeting, and institutional accounting. As Treasurer, she provides essential oversight of AMEU's financial sustainability.
